As a member of the Leadership and Organizational Transformation team, Kara’s mission is to provide superior support to her team utilizing her skills in organization, scheduling and her ability to see around corners ahead of time. Her background in psychology, marketing and social media coordinating is a key factor in her ability to be able to connect and relate to prospective clients.
Kara is passionate in making a difference in her career. She has a love for psychology, connecting with people, and is eager for knowledge. Industry & Consulting Experience
Kara brings to Raines’s Leadership and Organizational Transformation team a proven background in marketing and organizational support. She began her career as owner and event coordinator at Stella Marie’s Teas, a premier event planning company, where she created and executed on the organization’s marketing strategy and managed all aspects of event planning. She then served as Client Services Manager at Gallo Center for the Arts. At Gallo, Kara helped the nonprofit scale by coordinating fundraising events, office support and directly working with clients who would perform at the center.
In addition to working at Raines, she serves as social media coordinator for Fangirl Sports Network, covering the Portland Trailblazers.
