Kathryn is a Senior Vice President within Raines’ Advisory: Leadership & Organizational Consulting Practice. Based in Chicago, Kathryn joined Raines to build the Advisory capability, with a primary focus and specialty in DE&I. She has lectured on the effect of bias mitigation, allyship, and DEI as it relates to talent and business decisions to over 10,000 business leaders in 25 countries. Kathryn is also Raines’ Head of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. With a foundation in applied neuroscience, Kathryn takes a brain-based approach to problem-solving and insight generation across Advisory practice areas.
Kathryn’s Specialties:
Prior to Raines, she was the Inclusion, Unconscious Bias, and Applied Neuroscience expert at Bain & Company. She worked globally on strategy, organizational culture, and employee engagement. At the NeuroLeadership Institute, Kathryn consulted as a leader on decision making and performance to inform and drive human capital strategy. Kathryn graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. Before attending Columbia, she spent five years as a professional skier and instructor specializing in adaptive skiing for individuals with cognitive and developmental disorders. She also supported military veterans in partnership with the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C. and the Wounded Warrior Project.
