Based in London, Alex Maropoulos is a Senior Vice President, Industrials. Alex has extensive experience across Industrials & Real Estate, and specialises in Aerospace & Defence, Industrial Logistics, Construction, Metals, Supply Chain, and broader Manufacturing. He has spent the past seven years in global executive search placing COOs, CFOs, MDs, President/GMs and SVP/VP functional leadership of Finance, Marketing, Digital, Sales, HR, Legal, Operations, Development, Asset Management, Construction, and Procurement.

Alex is passionate about making a difference and having an impact when engaging with colleagues, clients, and candidates. Entrepreneurial at his core, Alex is charged by understanding what drives his clients, what informs their decisions, and the economic, social, and political environments they are operating within. By extension, his interest is piqued by areas of intense innovation and disruption including carbon emission reduction, net zero agendas, broader ESG & sustainability initiatives, and diversity, particularly in the real asset space. Prior to Raines, Alex was a Principal at Granger Reis in its Real Estate practice, where he also led the Industrial & Commercial European business. Before Granger Reis, he worked at Sanderson, leading searches across General Insurance, Consumer Finance, Technology, and Government & Defence.
