Matt Seiler is Head of Raines International’s Marketing, Media, and Entertainment Practice. In his Executive-In-Residence role, Matt is working closely with Dan and the team on the development of future capabilities which will include the harnessing of tech and AI.
Matt serves in various corporate and non-profit board capacities, including: Co-Board Chair at Stax Media Holdings, Executive Board Member at The8App, Former Chairman of the Board for Effie Worldwide, and Board of Trustees, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.
Seiler is a three-time CEO, leading some of the advertising industry’s most awarded agency and agency groups. During his 15 years with Omnicom Group, Matt led domestic and global client businesses from inside some of the most storied creative agencies like BBDO and Goodby, Silverstein and Partners.
Later he drove client success from the holding company level, focusing especially on his long-time client PepsiCo. There Seiler oversaw what grew to be 21 agencies serving the five divisions of PepsiCo plus corporate.
His first stint in media was as CEO of PHD, Omnicom’s strategic and innovation oriented media network. Matt and his team put the “agent back in agency” and helped drive significant growth for his clients’ businesses and the media network. From there he moved to IPG where he built an unparalleled team of diverse minds leading to the holding company’s largest media network doubling revenue globally in a down economy. Over the next eight years Seiler helped drive the industry forward in areas such as compensation models and automation adoption.
Matt then went off to an “externship” with a digital and social media content and distribution network. It was there that Seiler realized his passion for talent management, and the need to reshape the ways in which the industry was being served.
