About Engy

Engy Lamour is a results-oriented, trusted advisor with a focus on developing innovative solutions to solve clients’ most complex Investments and Distribution talent needs. He leads Raines’ Alternative Asset Management Practice and specializes in Asset Management and Alternative Investments clients across the banking, hedge fund, private equity, real estate investment, and venture capital sectors. Engy brings 15 years of experience to Raines and has successfully executed on assignments including: Presidents, Chief Investment Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Heads of Sales, and Directors of Investments. Engy also advises organizations on diversity and inclusion strategies, particularly on talent management across sectors in the Alternative Asset Management industry.

Industry & Consulting Experience

Prior to Raines, Engy worked at Korn Ferry, where he was a principal in its Global Asset & Alternative Investments practice. He also served as an Engagement Manager at Heidrick & Struggles within the firm’s Asset Management practice. Previously, Engy was Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of the Global Marketing & Investor Relations practice of a boutique search firm, for which he launched and managed the UK subsidiary office. Engy started his career as an analyst in hedge fund research and worked at financial institutions including Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank.

He is a 2017 Council of Urban Professionals “CUP” Fellow and an active member of the CUP community, and he previously served on the boards of The Posse Foundation National Alumni Advisory Council and The Haitian Roundtable. Engy is a graduate of Brandeis University and Columbia Business School. Engy was named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2023 40 under 40 list and The Philadelphia Tribune’s 2024 People Under 40 to Watch.
