Richard Sarmiento

Based in Washington D.C., Richard Sarmiento is a Vice President at Raines and supports the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services Practice, part of the broader Industrial Practice. Over the last 10 years, Richard has supported clients across multiple industries and has developed strong relationships on both the talent side and the organization side. Richard has worked on searches in a variety of roles including General Management/Operations, Engineering /Technology, Supply Chain/ Contracting, and Sales & Marketing for private and public companies and non-profit organizations.

Richard started his career as an Armor/Cavalry Officer in the U.S. Army where he served at various levels of command and staff. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn. Following his military service, he held operational support and leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he served with the global industrials practice at Korn Ferry.
