About Allen

Allen places corporate executives in for-profit and non-profit organizations. He has completed searches for senior leaders in human resources, investments, legal, strategy, and technology functions, as well as for board members.  Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to identifying progressive, accomplished leaders. During his tenure, Allen’s personal assignments have spanned the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Africa, and Asia, and include all areas of finance, general management, human resources, strategy, technology, and related functions. He previously led Raines’ CFO and Financial Officers Practice.

Allen’s recent placements include the CFO for a not-for-profit based in South Africa; Treasurer for a multibillion-dollar medical supplies distributor; Treasurer for a multibillion-dollar global manufacturer; Chief Investment Officer for a multibillion-dollar private foundation; Directors of Investment and Impact Investing for a multibillion-dollar private foundation; CHRO and Vice President, Impact Investing for nonprofit foundations; and Director of Investment Operations for a healthcare institution.

Allen is an active member of the executive search community and is a frequent speaker at various conferences and professional seminars, including NACT, NYC SHRM, NAAAHR, as well as numerous MBA schools.
