Charlotte Kirks

Based in Washington D.C., Charlotte Kirks is a Senior Vice President specializing in executive search for private equity-backed services companies and public companies undergoing transformation. She partners closely with PE investors and their portfolio companies to recruit Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, and Chief Revenue Officers to drive growth across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and environmental services businesses, spanning lower-middle market to large-cap enterprises. On the public side, Charlotte works with Fortune 500 industrial companies investing in lifecycle services and digital transformation, identifying P&L leaders and senior talent to drive strategy, innovation, and emerging technologies. A collaborative and agile consultant, she has served as a trusted advisor to Boards and executives, helping companies navigate change and build high-impact leadership teams.

Charlotte joined Raines after five years with Korn Ferry as a key member of its nonprofit, philanthropy, social enterprise, and education group. In this capacity, she partnered directly with philanthropists, Boards of Directors, and C-suite executives in search development and execution for C-suite and Board level positions. She also worked on searches in the impact investing space and the emergent field of social enterprise.

Prior to her career in search, she recruited and led volunteers for a Washington, D.C. nonprofit combating food insecurity and food waste. As part of the executive team, Charlotte led over a tenfold increase in meals served and the rollout of a new volunteer scheduling platform.
