Libby Cornelssen

Libby Cornelssen is a Vice President in Raines’ Consumer Practice. Based in Jackson, Wyoming, she was drawn to executive search because of her interest in organizational psychology, in particular the impact that executive leadership can have on a company, industry, and our broader socio-economic fabric. She chases complex challenges and serves as a trusted advisor to clients working to solve the issues facing their companies. Libby primarily serves clients in the Consumer sector and has experience partnering with leading Private Equity firms as well as large, multi-national publicly-traded companies.

Libby’s prior experience placing Board Directors at some of the largest public companies gave her broad expertise in corporate governance. Additionally, having worked in the environmental and outdoor sectors, she has experience advising companies who have social responsibility embedded in their mission.

Prior to Raines, Libby spent several years at Korn Ferry. As part of the Board Director practice, she worked closely with CEOs and Chairs to place Board Directors at Fortune 1000 companies across all sectors. As part of the Consumer practice, she built relationships with leading private equity firms and led executive searches for CPG, retail and hospitality brands. Her career in executive search began at Koya Partners | DSG where she placed CEOs for mission-driven organizations in the conservation and climate sector. Previously, she worked for a technology start-up recruiting engineers and data analysts and overseeing human resources and operations.
