Lisa was joined by Canva’s Guy Kawasaki to discuss a range of topics from the barriers to “intrapreneurship” at big companies to the importance of workplace culture and offering surprise and delight moments for team members.

I’d be curious about everyone’s thoughts on “intrepreneurship” because I think that’s an oxymoron. It’s very hard to be an “intrepreneur” inside a big company, even though big companies want to talk about that. It’s almost impossible…there’s not that type of CEO who is going to break things, who is going to enable people to do that. That’s why there are incrementalists. Lisa also commented on the importance of building an authentic culture, noting “You can’t manufacture a good culture because people sniff it out. It has to be authentic. But I still believe in big companies and I still believe in creating environments where people want to work.”
